Former EastEnders star and famous British actress, Sandy Ratcliff has died at the age of 70 in a care home.
The star had battled cancer and had strokes over the years. She starred in Eastenders in 1985 and appeared in the first ever episode.
During her time on the show, she was married to the owner of the cafe in Albert Square, Ali Osman (Nejdet Salih).
She died on 7th April and is survived by her son, William.
