BRITAIN COULD SEE HOTTEST DAY EVER AS HEATWAVE ARRIVES TOMORROW

Britain’s all time record of the hottest day in the history of the country is ‘under threat’ according to the Met Office.

It has been reported that the UK could see its hottest ever July recorded this week as another heatwave sets in. It has been predicted to bring highs of up to 37C!

Weather forecasts suggest the country is more than likely to experience the hottest day of the year so far, after temperatures reached 34C last month.

Met Office has said the July record (36.7C from 2015) could be beaten on Thursday and that Great Britain’s all-time record of 38.5C in August 2003 may be “under threat”.

A Public Health England spokesperson has also said: “Our advice to the public is to think now about anyone you know who may feel the ill-effects of hot weather – older people, those with heart and lung conditions and young children – and consider what help they may need.”

St George’s Day’s Advice: Make sure you have a power fan available, drink plenty of water and stay out of the sun. Factor 50 sun lotion is must for those who burn easily. And make the most of it! You will all be moaning it’s too cold before long!
